This policy explains what information FleetKhata (getfleetkhata.com), operated by Lakshya Singhal, collects, how it is used, and your choices.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email address, phone number, and business details (business name, GSTIN, address, bank details you choose to print on invoices).
  • Business records you enter: trips, parties, suppliers, drivers, trucks, expenses, payments, invoices, and any documents or photos you upload (such as proof of delivery, receipts, or vehicle documents).
  • Technical information: device type, browser, IP address and usage logs needed to keep the Service secure and working.

2. How we use it

  • To provide the Service: store your records, generate documents, calculate balances and reports.
  • To secure accounts, prevent abuse and fix problems.
  • To send service messages such as document-expiry alerts or payment reminders that you configure.
  • To process payments for paid plans through Razorpay.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other transport businesses, lenders, or logistics companies.

3. Who we share it with

Only service providers that we need to run the Service, bound by their own privacy and security terms:

  • Vercel (hosting and file storage)
  • Neon (database, hosted in Singapore)
  • Clerk (sign-in and account security)
  • Razorpay (payment processing for paid plans)

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

4. Your rights and choices

  • Export all of your data at any time from inside the app.
  • Edit or delete records you have entered.
  • Request deletion of your account and data by emailing lakshyasinghaliitd@gmail.com. We complete deletion within 30 days unless retention is legally required.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to production systems is limited and logged. No system is perfectly secure; keep your login credentials private.

6. Cookies

We use cookies only to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as theme. We do not use advertising cookies.

7. Children

The Service is for businesses and is not directed at children under 18.

We will post updates to this policy on this page and update the date above.
