Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of FleetKhata (the "Service"), a web application at getfleetkhata.com operated by Lakshya Singhal ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

FleetKhata is bookkeeping software for transport businesses. It lets you record trips, generate bilty (lorry receipts) and invoices, maintain party, supplier, driver and vendor ledgers, track expenses and payments, and export your data. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not provide accounting, tax or legal advice, and you remain responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for your statutory filings.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information when signing up.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • One account represents one business. You may add staff users to your business where the plan allows.

3. Plans, fees and billing

  • A free plan is available with the core features and usage limits shown inside the app.
  • Paid plans, where offered, are billed in Indian Rupees in advance for the chosen period (monthly or yearly). Prices, limits and included features are shown at the time of purchase inside the app.
  • Payments are processed by Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details.
  • Applicable taxes are added where required by law.
  • Paid plans are prepaid for the chosen period and do not renew automatically. We remind you before expiry; if you do not renew, your account moves to the free plan and your data stays intact.
  • Refunds are handled as described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

4. Your data

  • You own the data you enter. We do not sell it or share it with third parties except the service providers needed to run the Service (hosting, database, authentication, file storage, payments).
  • You can export all of your data as Excel or PDF at any time, on every plan.
  • If you delete your account we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
  • Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access other users' data, reverse engineering the software, uploading unlawful content, or using the Service to send unsolicited messages.

6. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice. Exports remain available so you are never locked in.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or business, arising from use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in New Delhi have exclusive jurisdiction.
